“While I was Senior Associate General Counsel at Electronics for Imaging, Inc. in Foster City, California, I was leading our effort to design and implement a contract management system for confidentiality and evaluation agreements, sales, distribution and marketing agreements, human resource agreements and in-licensing and vendor agreements.
 
We chose the Nextance solution and with Nextance as the vendor and consultant we designed a contract management system that was complex and tailored to our organization. After we had tested the solution and it was ready to go, we had a difficult time designing a workable plan for roll-out, user acceptance, data uploads and integration and similar items. In addition, some of our user requirements had already changed from the time we had originally spec’d out the system to the time of roll-out. Basically, we had this huge contract management system that no one was using and we were at a standstill with a couple of abandoned roll-outs.
 
Arnav Technology Solutions came to our rescue. At our first meeting they immediately understood the problems we were having and recommended first steps to get over the impasse.  Then in short order they designed a detailed roll-out plan that worked for us and that got us moving. This plan included re-coding to cover the gaps in user requirements – which they did in short order and without bugs.  It also included a strategy for selecting which data to enter prior to roll-out and how to use the human resources in our department to accomplish the right amount of data entry and upload in the most efficient amount of time. Everyone in the legal department was happy with the forward momentum and workability of the plan that Arnav Technology Solutions gave us. The depth of their experience and knowledge regarding how to use and get the most out of a contract management solution was invaluable, as was their technical expertise in software systems.
 
If I am involved in another contract management project, I would love to use Arnav Technology Solutions again.”

“The Arnav team visited South-Africa for the Phase 1 functional design and had the dooming task of putting a requirements document together within a week. Taken into account the composition of the Sasol project team at that stage (a group of head-strong people, each with his/her own initiative and never agreeing on what the IP management system should and should not do!), I can only congratulate Arnav on the professional manner in which they simultaneously managed the Sasol group and steered them in the right direction - to such an extent that by the end of Arnav's visit we had the framework of the requirements document ready. During this time I could not help but admire the Arnav executives for their dedication and driving force for the project, not even to mention the extremely long hours they devoted to Sasol.
 
From then onwards, it was and still is only a pleasure working with Arnav. The team is always friendly, sensitive to deadlines, helpful and most of all making valuable contributions that is highly appreciated by the Sasol team. When we (myself and one of my Sasol team members) visited Arnav in September 2006 for the Phase 1 functional design, they once again steered us remarkably painless through a process that neither of us were familiar with or had any idea on how to tackle. During implementation of phase 1 Arnav executives had to endure again the long trip to South Africa to spend another gruesome week with a now even bigger Sasol team to do training, whilst simultaneously solving hardware and related installation problems out on Sasol's behalf. Throughout UAT Arnav executives were always (even in the middle of the night due to the big time difference from South Africa) available to assist us.
 
Arnav has been pivotal in what we regard at Sasol as being a highly successful project. Arnav’s contributions ensured that this project was taken from a mere paper document, which outlined the high-level IP business processes, in June 2005 to the Phase 1 implemented and functional software application in October 2007.
 
We are looking forward to work together with Arnav on phase 2 of the project.”
